The honorees chosen for 2023 are Lily Gladstone, Oscar Nominee and actress in Killers of the Flower Moon; Fantasia Barrino Taylor, American Idol winner and The Color Purple actress; Danielle Brooks, Broadway star; Taraji P. Henson, Empire actress and Golden Globe winner; Eva Longoria, actress and director; America Ferrera, Emmy Award winner and actress; Greta Lee, breakout star of Past Lives; Jennifer Lopez, actress and singer; and Jodie Foster, Oscar nominee and The Mauritanian actress.

These women have used their experiences in the industry and in life to change the female experience in Hollywood, proving the industry is better with transparency and diverse voices. Jennifer Lopez remarked, “Women are the story… We have to be able to stand in our own power and say, ‘We’re not just on the periphery.’” And Fantasia Barrino Taylor signified women’s courage when it comes to changing industries and being an outlier when saying, “I am the award. I am the trophy.”

The inspirational actresses were featured on ELLE december issue covers, interviewed for special magazine features and ELLE.com articles, and honored at the event’s ceremonial celebration in Los Angeles, on December 5th.
